How to order

How do I place an order online?

For your convenience, we created a short guide on how to easily place your order online.

Country

Select the country where you want your gift delivered.

Currency

Choose your preferred currency from the menu beneath the categories on the left. US dollar (USD) is standard. You can change to Euro (EUR) or British Pounds (GBP) if you prefer.

Gifts

We have a large choice of great gifts. Navigate through the categories at the left of the page to make your selection. Click on "Composition Info" to learn more about any gift.

Delivery Method

Found your gift? Choose your preferred delivery method from the dropdown menu under the price and click on "Add to Shopping Cart". Learn all about delivery options here. You can add multiple items and even ship to different countries in one order by changing the country at the top right of every page. If you are shipping multiple items to the same address, be sure to select the option of "Same Address" when adding the additional item to the shopping cart (this will automatically appear as an option once an item is in the cart).

Shopping Cart

Review your order in the shopping cart. Once you have everything you need, click the "Checkout" button to place your order.

Order Information

Complete all information for the delivery address and then enter your billing address. For questions about a delivery address, click here for help with European addresses.

Payment

You can view your complete order summary in the payment tab. To proceed, select your preferred payment method. We offer a wide range of payment options including all major credit cards and many banking systems. You can leave an optional comment for our Customer Care Team at this step.

Confirmation

Once your payment is complete and processed, you will receive an order confirmation e-mail and an account will be created for you.

Delivery
Can you help me enter a large order?

Definitely yes! For fewer than ten gifts, ordering directly online is the easiest option. The instructions below will help you order for multiple destinations and recipients:

Send several gifts to ONE destination, ONE RECIPIENT
  1. Select your first gift and put it in the shopping cart.
  2. Notice the button at the left bottom of your cart "Add Another Item".
  3. Click on it.
  4. Select a new gift and you will see an option next to Delivery to send the gift to "Same Address - Same Recipient". Put the radial button there and add to shopping cart. Repeat for all gifts.
  5. When you use this system you will optimize your shipping and handling cost.

  1. Select your first gift and put it in the shopping cart.

Repeat for all gifts. Use this process even when ordering the same gift (do not just increase quantity in shopping cart).

If you have more than ten gifts, we suggest using our easy electronic order form. Fill in all information you have and e-mail it to us. We will enter the order and call you with any questions and to complete the order. Need help?

Can I review my order before it's finalized?

Yes. There are several ways to review your order during the order process.

While entering the billing and delivery addresses, you can return to the previous form by clicking 'Back to Delivery Address' or 'Back to Billing Info' on the bottom right side of the page.

Once you're at the payment page, you can view your entire order summary at the top of the page. Use the same buttons as before to make changes.

Do I have to log in or have an account to place an order?

An account will be set up automatically for you once you complete your order. If you are a returning client, you can log in first to keep all your order history together. Access your Account Center here.

In which currencies can I order?

We offer the option to order in three different currencies: United States Dollar (USD), Euro (EUR) and British Pound (GBP). USD is standard.

Once you've selected the destination for your gift, you can select your preferred currency at the left of any page that displays multiple gifts, under "Change Currency". If you already have a gift selected and want to change currency, just back up one screen and you will see the option there.

How do I find a particular product?

Once you've selected the destination for your gift, you can conveniently browse through all the products using the Categories located on the left.

Can I place a customized order?

Yes. When ordering more than five units of a particular product, or for a gift valued at over $500, our staff is happy to customize the gift of your choice. Please e-mail us or call to learn more.

Can I substitute something in a gift I see on the site?

Yes. If you order more than 5 units of a particular product, we're happy to substitute certain products in the gift of your choice. Please e-mail us or call to learn more.

Can I include a message with my order?

Yes. You can add a personal touch to all gifts available on CadoFrance.

You will be able to select an occasion and add a personal gift message while you enter the address details of the recipient. Your personal gift message can be up to 1000 characters, one of the highest levels in the gift industry!

The date showing on the website is earlier than I want my gift delivered, do I have to wait to order?

You can order as early as you like. You can change the delivery date in the dropdown menu when entering the delivery address information.

Will the gift you send look just like what I see on the website?

All gifts on the website are created and photographed by CadoFrance. Therefore, what you see is what you get.
In the unlikely case one of the products is out of stock, we will attempt to contact you about substitutions and will upgrade your gift with a product of higher value.

How do I change the delivery address or gift message once my order is placed?

Please login into your Account Center to verify if your order label has already been printed. If it hasn't been printed yet, you can make changes to the delivery address and gift message in your Account Center. If the label has been printed, please email the changes to our Customer Care Team. We cannot guarantee changes at this time but will adapt as possible.

How do I determine the shipping charges for my order?

Shipping charges are always shown in the dropdown menu where you select a shipping method , under the gift description. Even for multiple gifts to multiple recipients, you can check shipping charges in the shopping cart and the order summary. This way we guarantee that there will be no surprises when you complete your order.

I don't understand these European addresses, how can I be sure my order is entered correctly?

It is of course important to have a full and complete address when shipping in Europe. When possible, our customer care specialists monitor addresses before sending out gifts to make sure they reach their correct destination. If we notice an error, we will correct it ourselves using European shipping tools. If we cannot correct the address ourselves, we will contact you.

Just a few hints on European postal addresses:

  • An address in the Republic of Ireland has no postal code
  • Dutch and British postal codes contain letters and numbers.
  • Addresses in the Republic of Ireland and the United Kingdom usually also include the name of the county.
  • In most countries, nothing is required for the "State" field but you can add the region or department if you know it.

Remember, it's always helpful to include a local phone number so we can reach the recipient in case of any delivery issues.

I'm sending a gift to the Republic of Ireland, what do I put in the postal code field?

If your delivery address has no postal code, you can put 'n/a' in the zip code field. If you're sending a gift to Dublin, you can enter the city district code instead. Please note that if your gift is going to Northern Ireland, the country should be United Kingdom and the postal code will contain letters and numbers.
